One python huntress who won a prize in the 2025 Python Challenge has taken a sabbatical from her corporate job to pursue her passion.

Florida wildlife officials report that this year’s Florida Python Challenge resulted in a record 294 Burmese pythons being removed from the state’s natural areas.
