Federal authorities in Idaho are following up on a possible sighting over the weekend of a Washington state man wanted in connection with the deaths of his three daughters

The U.S. Marshals Service is searching the Sawtooth National Forest for Travis Decker, a Wenatchee, Washington, man whom officials have sought for more than a month after his daughters, ages 5, 8 and 9, did not return from a visitation trip with him in late May. The children were later found dead near a Washington campground.

The Army veteran accused of killing his three daughters in Washington state and disappearing into the wilderness for weeks may have been spotted in an Idaho forest, federal authorities said
