LSU pitchers Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson combined for 16 strikeouts Friday night as the top-ranked Tigers defeated Texas A&M, 4-3, in the quarterfinal round of the SEC Tournament at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

LSU led 4-3 when Anderson exited the game courtesy of an Ethan Frey RBI double and a Luis Hernandez RBI in the bottom of the first. Frey would add a two-run home run in the bottom of the third to give LSU a four-run cushion.
