Zach McKinstry had three hits, including a homer, and scored twice as the Detroit Tigers rallied for a 7-5 win against the Kansas City Royals.

Riley Greene tied it with a 2-run homer in the 6th and Zach McKinstry fell a double short of the cycle in a 7-5 win over K.C.

The Tigers now get to face a Royals team that is coming off a four-game series with the Texas Rangers, with Kansas City having won six straight games. The Tigers sit atop the American League Central, 9.5 games ahead of the Royals. KC is two games back of the last Wild Card spot.
