The Detroit Tigers are adding a second left-hander to the bullpen ahead of this weekend’s series against the Kansas City Royals. The Tigers will select the contract of reliever Drew Sommers from Triple-A Toledo before Friday night’s opener at Comerica Park.
The Tigers promoted Sommers from Triple-A Toledo on Thursday for his MLB debut, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
