President Donald Trump’s base vigorously defended him in the wake of a Thursday Wall Street Journal report that he wrote a sexually suggestive letter to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday, with some claiming the alleged letter doesn’t sound like the president.

“The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued,” the president wrote.

The cards were surreptitiously inserted onto a souvenir carousel and featured an old photo of Trump with the late convicted sex offender Epstein, when the pair were close friends, said comedy duo Davram Stiefler and Jason Selvig, known as The Good Liars, who were behind the stunt.

President Donald Trump denied on social media a report in the Wall Street Journal that claims he wrote a letter to Jeffrey Epstein for Epstein's 50th birthday. Shortly afterward, Trump announced in another social media post that he is directing Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce more Epstein documents amid public clamor for the records.

In a Truth Social post on Sunday, the President wrote that his ratings have increased due to a number of his policies.
