Arsenal's attempts to sign a new striker this summer have not been smooth as a deal for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres appears to have faltered as Andrea Berta looks elsewhere

What once looked like a near-done deal may now be slipping away as talks between the Gunners and Sporting CP have reportedly hit a brick wall. The North London club had apparently agreed personal terms with the Swedish striker. Gyokeres was even ready to sign a five-year deal.
